Harvester ants like mushrooms

Kevin Price brought in some harvester ants he found by a colony, under a rock.

Kevin states that the ants were definitely involved with the mushrooms that were growing under the rock. There were no seed husks around the nest, probably because it was still early season. Kevin did see them catch a ground spider, and pull it back towards the nest.
